As a proud member of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, New Riff Distilling sits at the head of the Trail in Newport, Kentucky, just south of Cincinnati across the Ohio River. As Northern Kentucky’s premier distillery, we’re honored to welcome guests from near and far to experience the best of Kentucky bourbon at the gateway to the Trail.
The Distillery
At our East Campus, you’ll experience New Riff in every way. Settle in at The Aquifer Bar for a cocktail or exclusive pour you won’t find anywhere else. Before you go, explore our gift shop stocked with bottles, barware, and New Riff gear to take the experience home with you.
Every New Riff Single Barrel is made from the contents of one individual barrel, rather than being blended from multiple barrels to create a consistent profile. Each barrel is bottled at barrel proof, capturing the whiskey in its purest, most expressive form. No two barrels are alike, and the one you choose will carry its own unique character and story.
From guided cocktail classes and curated whiskey tastings to private tours for your group, we’ll make your next gathering one to remember. Yes, there is a free parking lot directly in front of the building.
Children are welcome in our gift shop and visitor center. Guests participating on distillery tours, tastings or classes must be of legal drinking age (21 years old and up). Please Drink Responsibly.
Handheld filming and photography are permitted at New Riff Distilling and at New Riff West Campus provided that such activity does not interfere with regular tours, scheduled single barrel selections, events, functions, and does not pose a security, health, or safety risk. Further, the use or re-use of the filming or photography output must not be deemed inconsistent with the interests of, or in violation of, the policies of the Distillery.
The use of tripods, stands, drones, off camera lighting, or any other equipment or materials deemed hazardous by New Riff staff is not allowed.
Professional photography sessions or commercial shoots are not permitted without prior written approval from New Riff Distilling.
Yes, our Distillery and Tasting Room are both accessible. There are no stairs leading to the front door and our large elevator has plenty of room for wheelchairs and anyone assisting.
