Yellow Leaming dates from 1824, when farmer Jacob Leaming began working with Native American corn in Hamilton County, Ohio. By the 1850’s, it had become one of the preeminent corns of the 19th century; it would go on to form the basis for American agricultural history, and it came from right here in Hamilton County, Greater Cincinnati Ohio.
