New Riff High Note Biscuit Malt Rye

109.4 Proof | Aged at least 4 years

54.7% alc/vol. | Straight Rye Whiskey

New Riff Distilling proudly introduces the latest expression in our High Note series: Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, crafted with Weyermann Abbey Malt (Biscuit Malt), a brewing barley traditionally used in Belgian ales. Known for its honeyed, nutty sweetness and subtle biscuit notes, Abbey malt brings a distinctive richness to this unique rye whiskey. This is only the second rye whiskey we’ve crafted with corn, which rounds out the spice, adding sweetness and softness to the rye, allowing the biscuit malt to shine through. By incorporating Abbey malt instead of our traditional malted barley, we’ve unlocked bready, nutty, and chocolatey sweetness, creating a flavor profile that’s truly one of a kind.
