Cocktail Recipes

Did you try one the delicious New Riff cocktails at the NGA show? Follow these recipes to make them at home!

New Fashioned

  • 2 oz New Riff Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • ¼ oz Rich Demerara Syrup

 

In a mixing glass, add all ingredients in order listed. Add ice, stir and strain over large rock. Garnish with orange peel.

Not So Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz New Riff Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • ¼ oz Rich Demerara Syrup

 

In a mixing glass, add all ingredients in order listed. Add ice, stir and strain over large rock. Garnish with orange peel.

Fools Rush In

  • 2 oz New Riff Bottled-in-Bond Rye
  • ¾ oz Lemon Juice
  • ¾ oz Cinnamon Honey Syrup*

 

In a shaker tin add ice, lemon juice, cinnamon honey syrup and rye. Shake well. Strain over new ice, garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel or lemon peel.

Cinnamon Honey Syrup: 16 oz. honey, 16 oz. water, 1 cinnamon stick. In a large pot mix water and honey together on low heat. Use the whisk to slowly stir as the mixture heats up. Whisk together to help break up the honey. Whisk until honey is incorporated. Mix in cinnamon and let it sit for 20 minutes. Scoop out cinnamon before adding syrup to bottles or containers. Store in fridge for up to 1 month.

 

Black Rifle Coffee Martini

  • 2 oz New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon (or New Riff Bottled-In-Bond Bourbon)
  • 1 oz Black Rifle Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate
  • ½ oz Demerara Syrup
  • 1 dash Chocolate Bitters

 

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin. Shake well and strain into a martini or coupe glass. Garnish with espresso beans (optional).
